Jerry Trickel, President
Mr. Trickel was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BA Degree. A background in Sales, Sales Management and Marketing with Proctor and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and the Berol Corporation before purchasing Miniature Die Casting of Texas, Inc., in 1983.
MDC developed from a single automotive accessory item with sales of less than $250,000 to a leader in the window hardware business and annual sales of over $5 million dollars. MDC was sold to Atrium Corporation in 2003. Two new companies were formed by Mr. Trickel: JLT Engineered Products in 2005, which makes medical devices and run by Mr. Trickel's son. JLT Energy Consultants in 2006. JLT Energy Consultants has grown to be an important player in the Natural Gas and Electricity throughout the Deregulated States and Canada representing leading Retail Electricity Companies.
Mr. Trickel has received the Employer of the Year Award from the Association of Retarded Citizens and the US Government Hiring of the Handicapped Award while owning MDC.
James (Jim) Henry, Certified Energy Procurement Professional Sr. VP
After his Honorable Discharge from completing a 6 year enlistment in the U.S. Navy, Jim applied his G.I. Bill benefit to complete an Associate's Degree with the Cleveland Institute of Electronics and attend electrical engineering studies at the University of Houston.
Later during a time he was a permanent resident of Brazil, Mr. Henry completed Portuguese language studies at the Associação Alumni located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Upon organizing the management buyout of a subsidiary of General Telephone and Electronics Information Systems located in Mexico City, he served as the company's Chief Executive Officer. As a business owner, Jim has developed technology-based businesses located in Mexico and other countries in the western hemisphere. For many years from a Dallas location, Jim functioned as a Consultant to small business owners helping them to develop their ownership equity such as to promote their enterprises’ sale, merger or acquisition of other businesses. Jim has previously held a Series 6 Securities license and a Texas Real Estate Sales-Person’s license. He remains fluent with the Spanish language. He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers gaining that organization’s certification as an Energy Procurement Professional.
George E. Buntrock III, Vice President
Mr. Buntrock joined forces with several successful energy brokers under the umbrella of JLT Energy Consultants because he wanted to expand the markets, the services and the energy solutions he could offer his clients, manufacturers and retail chains in the US and Canada. This union has resulted in their ability to service over 20 states and provinces in North America with electricity or natural gas with multiple providers and unique procurement processes for large users.
Mr. Buntrock was born and raised in Hawaii before attending the University of Michigan on an NROTC scholarship and earning his BSE degree. He served 7 years in the U.S. Navy, concluding his tour in the Exchange program working in England for the Royal Navy. He then joined the world’s largest commercial diving company, Oceaneering International, where he held several Sales and Marketing Manager positions in the US and South America. He joined Cal Dive International, in Singapore, as their General Manager of Southeast Asia and returned to the United States to subsequently open his own business.
Over the past 20 years, Mr. Buntrock has given back to the community by serving as an active participant of several non-profit organizations. He has also been on the Board of Directors as President and Treasurer in two of those organizations.
Sandra Jones, Vice President
Sandra has her degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and is no stranger to business development, commercial properties, blueprints, and estimating. She brings a wealth of knowledge, a unique creativity, professionalism, and hands-on experience to her customers. Sandra developed an early appreciation and love for hard work and business development by working in the family business, an education that is hard to match.
Passionate about life and helping those around her, Sandra spends her free time personal training others in marathon running, skiing, crossfit, nutrition, and fitness. She enjoys time with her family, water skiing, wakeboarding, snow skiing and golfing. She is involved in community activities and enjoys her time with her bible study group. She also has two incredible and successful children.
Gary Hennersdorf, Energy Consultant
Gary Hennersdorf is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of diversified business experience who has utilized superior client service to differentiate himself from others in the industry. Gary’s career focused for over 25 years in commercial construction and environmental remediation where he has been a small business owner and a General Manager for a national company. He has worked to set the standards and has led the industry in scope development and project management.
His experience includes the construction of mixed use and Brownfield projects; redevelopment of manufacturing sites into commercial uses, in-fill and mixed-used development and dispositions of properties needing remedial action. His work as a mortgage banker has given him experience with equity investments in real estate, working with life insurance companies, national banking associations and investment funds.
Gary graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA Degree. Gary recognized the endless opportunities to serve others in this volatile, complex deregulated energy market, so he became a commercial energy consultant. He joined JLT Energy Consultants in 2013 and brings to the company a proven track record of working with customers to ensure they are individually procuring the most competitive price and the most agreeable contractual terms available for their specific energy needs
George Palmer, Senior Energy Consultant
George Palmer is a diversely experienced professional in both the profit and non-profit sectors and additionally the service industry. He is owner and operator of Greasy Bend Burgers in Fort Worth. He has 30+ years of accounting experience. George joined JLT in 2010 and has helped many different industries including machine shops, dry cleaners, apartment complexes, and restaurants. He has successfully lowered the energy cost for his customers.
George grew up in Cleburne, Texas and graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in accounting. His passion is working with young athletes to assist them in finding scholarships to enable them to reach their dream. He has assisted over twenty young women throughout the college recruiting process to play softball at the NCAA and NAIA schools. He has given back to the community through participation in the Cleburne Jaycees and the Cleburne Rotary Club. George spends much of his free time with his family, fishing, and traveling.
